And just to give you a little example of what the Create a Critter Cartridge can do, I made this card last night for you.  Well, actually I made it for a good friend for her birthday, but it also serves as an example too.

The stamp you see came from a super cute stamp set designed by Robyn, over at MyPinkStamper.com.  I had been wanting this set for a while and I finally got it for Christmas!  YAY!  Robyn has designed a lot of stamps sets that work side by side with other Cricut cartridges, and I believe she has two other sets that work specifically with the Critter cartridge.  They are all so cute, but I'll have to save my pennies so I can buy more!

Recipe:
Card~ 4.25x5.5 inches
Polka dot layer~ 4x5.25 inches

Birthday Cake Card

Good Morning!!  I hope everyone is having a great Thursday!  My lovely daughter woke up at 6 this morning, but luckily she is taking a nap right now allowing me to post!  YAY!!

Way back in November I made my daddy this card for his birthday.  I mailed it in plenty of time for it to get there before or on his birthday.  Well, he didn't get it until 2 weeks later!  I was a little frustrate, but understood that things like this happen.  He still liked it anyways!

I cut the cake out using Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge.  I also used my Cuttlebug to emboss the yellow paper.  I had been wanting to try the cake, and was pretty pleased with out it came out.

Have a fabulous and warm day!  Happy crafting!!

Cupcake Birthday Card

I found on my desktop today a few cards I never posted before I left for vacation.  This is one of those cards.  I made it for my mother-in-law for her birthday.  Its a spin off of a card I made a few months ago.  When we visited my in-laws for Christmas, this card was hanging on the fridge.  So, I just assume she liked it!  :)  Hope you like it as well!!

I used my Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge along with the Cuttlebug.

Hope you are having a fabulous Tuesday.  I'll be returning Monday Menu next week.  My hubby has been sick with the flu since Sunday, so our meals have been all over the place.

Vacation Update and Goals

Well happy belated New Year's everyone!! Yes, I'm still alive. I know this is a long post, so please bear with me.

We arrived back at home sweet home last Sunday evening and I have been spending every spare minute trying to put things away and doing laundry.

We had a wonderful time visiting my family in Indiana with all the snow and visiting my hubby's family in Florida with all the sun. We also enjoyed a week in Disney World with his family. That was our Christmas, birthday, and anniversary present from them. Oh, yeah over the break I celebrated a birthday and another anniversary with my wonderful hubby of 3 years!!

We did a lot and I mean a lot of driving over the break and my poor daughter hated every second of it. She now has a fit every time we put her in her car seat because she thinks we are going on another long road trip, but we won't be taking one of those in a long time.

Since we have been home, I have been doing a lot of thinking about how I want this year to be different from last year. I have a few goals that I would like to accomplish and even make into habits.

I have also been thinking about how I use my spare time. My spare time is normally when my daughter naps, which is for a couple hours each day and when she goes down for the night. There have been so many times when I have a list of things I want to do while she naps, but when she's finally asleep, I don't do them. So, spending my spare time more wisely is one of my goals.

My problem with goals though, is I have so many that I get overwhelmed and don't ever think I can accomplish any of them. Well, this years goals are different. This year I have four goals that I feel are the most important.

1. Better my relationship with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ through prayer, searching the scriptures, and pondering.
2. Improve my relationship with my husband and daughter, because we can always improve.
3. Use my free time wisely.
4. Exercise

I feel like these are goals that I can accomplish, but will take a lot of dedication. Wish me luck. I would love to know what some of your new year goals or resolutions are. Feel free to share! Have a wonderful Monday!
