Christmas Crafts Design Team Day and Link-Up Party

DON'T FORGET TO LINK UP YOUR OWN PROJECTS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST

I am super excited about this last Design Team post of the year!  I just love Christmas time, especially all of the Christmas crafts I have found myself making. Therefore, this month's DT theme is Christmas; anything Christmas related goes.  We have all made some wonderful things that I can't wait for you to see. By the way, feel free to email me at patchesofpink(at)gmail(dot)com if you are interested in being on my design team in 2012.

Theme: Christmas
For this week's Link-Up Party, you can link up anything you have been working on recently or that you create specifically for this post, but it must be Christmas related!! I'm so interested in what everyone is making and I'm always inspired by your creations.

Here is my entry.
I created a home decor item out of wood blocks I had cut at Home Depot. I've been wanting to make something Christmas related for some time for the shelf above my computer. I was looking on Pinterest (my new favorite place by the way) for some ideas, and I found a few that sparked some creativity. So I decided to make these blocks.

For this week's Link-Up Party, you can link up anything you have been working on recently or that you create specifically for this post, but it must be Christmas related!! Please link up no more than 2 projects. The link-up will go through December 23rd. Then, my designers and I will pick our top 3 favorites to spotlight!! Sounds like fun!

Please grab my Link-up button below and place it in your post that you linked up. This helps others to see it and come participate in the link-up party! Thanks!

  2. These are beautiful! I've been wanting to make some of these blocks but I didn't like the look of the cardboard boxes...what a great idea to use wood blocks! I'll have to try this. :)

  6. Jalisa, you Believe block display is simply beautiful. I so like this idea. I like that you used off white/beige paper. Very well done.
The team has presented some very nice ideas--some traditional, some new.

  7. I did visit each of the team members as I want to comment on each. However, i could not find the exact post for Gill's lovely Cmas bear. I love those Forever Friends bears. I like the layers. So sweet.
