Tuesday Spotlight: Tinker Bell Card by Gill

There were a bunch of great ideas shared during last week's Thursday Link-Up Party! After checking out all of them, I decided to spotlight Gill from Creations by Gill M.

I really love all of the embellishments that she put on these Tinker Bell cards. I mean, look at the card below (it's my favorite). It even has a piffy butterfly and little bitty bees!! I love it how Gill made the background paper so "Tinker-Bell-ish". It looks just like something that would come out of the Tinker Bell movies. The Tinker Bell cartridge has been one that I have had my eye on for a while. I hope to get it soon. Great cards!

A little bit about Gill:

Gill hails from Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland. She gave up work to pursue her hobby as a business and set up her own craft studio - it's an ongoing saga. She has always been a crafty person, and several years ago she set up as a small hobbyist business making and selling my handcrafted cards, jewelry and other projects to sell at Fayres, family and friends, and to some shops in the city. For the past few years she has been teaching cardmaking to a group she set up called "The Crafting Queens." She is a Gold member in the 'Create and Craft' and 'Crafters Companion' clubs and am on the creative crafting design teams for Sheena Douglass and Debbi Moore Designs.

Now let's hear from Gill about her cards!

Using the Tinkerbell and Friends cricut cartridge, I cut out different layers for 3 different tinkerbell figures using coredinations cardstock. Assembled the layers together using pinflair glue and left to dry. Searched out backing papers that would coordinate with the Tinkerbell fairy image and attached them to cardstock using DS tape. Edged the papers in pinflair flexi bend peel offs -- I like doing this as it looks like a framed picture. Gathered together some ribbons, gems, pretty flower and insect embellishments from my craft box stash and placed on cards with pinflair glue. Once all was assembled, I added small white pom poms to Tink's shoes.

Thanks ladies for all the link-up party inspiration!

There will be another link-up party tomorrow!
Please come link-up.
I'd love to see what you all have been creating!!
