Ever wonder what to do with all of those scraps of paper you have left lying around after you make all of those pretty little cards??
Well, I have one possible solution!
By the way, this is another blog hijacking by Jalisa's hubby. You all asked for more when I hijacked this blog last time and posted the Valentine's Day Card (Click Here to see), so I decided I'd let you see more...
First off, don't forget to participate in the weeklyLINK-UP PARTIES here on Patches of Pink! It goes every Thursday through Sunday. Even I like to see what everyone is creating!
I saw an idea like this over on The Idea Room. I decided that butterflies weren't my thing, but I was sure I could find some really cool punch that Jalisa and I both liked. So off to Walmart we went to pick up a white frame, and then off to Joann's to find a punch. Jalisa even trusted me to go in alone and pick out the punch! Can you believe it? To surprise her I came out with 2 instead of 1!! haha. I got Jalisa a butterfly punch since I knew she would really like that, but I liked the cupcake punch, not to mention that I was feeling creative and I was like, "I could make the cupcake tops be different colors and all of the bottoms the same!"
Recipe:
- Place your white or cream cardstock behind your frame matting. Tape it there.
- Measure your punch that you are going to use and then measure and mark where you are going to place each punch in each row, etc.
- Pick your scraps and start punching!! Watch the paper fly everywhere!
- Attach your cute little punch outs to the cardstock with pop dots.
- You're done!!
Thanks for following my wonderful wife's blog!

I LOVE this project! I am so in the mood to create one now. I love how you can use scraps to make all those tops. I bet there are so many other ways to incorporate this idea. I am getting ready to go thru my punches to see if I have any that will work. If not, off to the store I go!
